ASA Swimming Teacher Course
In conjunction with Pulse Training, The Sports Club are running an Level 1 Swimming Teacher courses from 12-15 February.
Swim England Level 1 & 2 Qualifications
This is the industry standard qualifications for those wanting to embark on a Swimming Teaching career.
Level 1
This the first step towards becoming a swimming coach and is designed to introduce candidates to the basic principles of teaching.
Once qualified, the holder will be able to assist under the supervision Level 2 Teacher in a limited range of basic skills.
Level 2
This is the industry standard for those who wish to teach unsupervised and is essential for seeking employment as a swimming teacher.
Once qualified, the holder will be able to teach groups of participants of a range of abilities utilising the ASA National Plan for Teaching Swimming (or equivalent).
