Swimathon Charity Swim
Each year The Sports Club hosts a Swimathon charity event as part of the national campaign in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care and Cancer Research UK.
The 2024 Swimathon was held on Friday 26 April (18:00-22:00) and Saturday 27 April (13:30-17:30). A big thank you to the 60+ swimmers who took part on one of our biggest ever sign-ups. A lot of funds have been raised for the charity and a good time was had by all.
Thank you to the staff and lane counters who helped to make the event possible.
A special mention to Carol Collier for whom 2024 was her final year organising the event for DCSC after many successful years. Swimathon at DCSC will continue to be a highlight of our calendar and we will endeavour to maintain Carol’s very high standards.
