Swimming Instructor

I have enjoyed teaching swimming at Dulwich College Sports Club for over 30 years as well as having been a PE teacher in Mainstream and Special Education.

Since January 2014 I have been teaching disability swimming for Dulwich Dolphins and was the team manager for Southwark in this year’s London Youth Games. I am also an Adult Education tutor delivering Mentoring and SEN childcare courses.

I have a family of four adult children and three grandchildren who bring me great pleasure and joy. I enjoy going to the theatre, concerts, visiting museums and exhibitions, cooking, entertaining, eating out and gardening…shopping is good too!! I also enjoy reading and watching detective and historical genres.

My philosophy has always been “To do whatever you can, when you can, as well as you can” and try to embed this in all aspects of my own life and when teaching all who I am privileged to share my knowledge and experience with.
