Reflexology
Tina Nielsen-Talbot
Clinical reflexology is a non-intrusive complementary therapy based on the theory that different points on the feet correspond with different areas of the body.
The aim is to stimulate the body’s own healing mechanism.
Using specific techniques, clinical reflexology will probe, stimulate and massage the reflex points on the feet.
As a clinical reflexologist I will be using the 5 elements as a “diagnostic”
tool with the aim to optimally guide the body towards balance. Treatments are therefore very specific to the individual person receiving the treatment.
Clinical Reflexology is suitable for all ages and have been found to help with many symptoms such as headaches, hormonal imbalances, back and neck pain, period pains, fatigue, difficulty, sleeping, fertility difficulties, improved recovery time after receiving chemotherapy, stress, constipation and reflux in babies to name but a few.
I have been practicing as a Clinical Reflexologist since 1999, as well as an Upledger Cranio-Sacral Therapist (since 1997) and a Chartered Physiotherapist (since 1994).
